Bike Fix-It Stations
Whether your bike is in need of repairs or you simply want to keep it in good condition, you can find the tools for the job right on campus. In the spring of 2013, a Bike Fix-It station was installed near the bike racks on the southeast side of the Arkansas Union. Bike Fix-it stations are compact installations that include a bike hanger, air pump, three wrenches in various sizes, two screwdrivers, a set of folding hex keys, and tire lever.
UREC Bike Shop
If you need help from an expert, take your bike over to the University Bike Shop, located at UREC Outdoors, in Room 102 of the HPER building. Their hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 12 Pm – 6 Pm. Not only is this a full service bike repair shop, but you can also rent work stations, complete with tools, to work on your own bike with experts close at hand. This is a great way to learn more about bike repair and maintenance.
