Costanza to Headline Sustainability Speaker Series Lecture Feb. 7 Robert Costanza, co-founder and past-president of the International Society for Ecological Economics (ISEE) and former chief editor of the society's journal, Ecological Economics, will present a lecture at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, in room 427 in Willard J. Walker Hall. Costanza currently serves on the editorial board of eight other international academic journals. He is president of the International Society for Ecosystem Health. Costanza's research has focused on the interface between ecological and economic systems. He is currently director of the Gund Institute of Ecological Economics at the University of Vermont. His work has been cited in over 3,000 scientific articles and has appeared such various media as Newsweek, The Economist, National Geographic and National Public Radio. Students, faculty, staff and the community are invited to attend.
