National Conversation on Climate Action Oct. 4 The City of Fayetteville, in partnership with the University of Arkansas' Applied Sustainability Center, will host a community-wide event on the climate from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Willard J. Walker Hall on the U of A campus. This event is part of a National Conversation on Climate Action to discuss the science of climate change, ongoing initiatives and individual actions that can be taken at the local level. This is one of more than 50 events nation-wide following the United Nations Climate Summit. Kevin Robbins, director of Louisiana State University's Southern Regional Climate Center, will headline the event. Robbins will discuss the science of climate change and impacts on Northwest Arkansas.
