Help the University of Arkansas Recycle! Calling all University of Arkansas students, staff and faculty who are interested in contributing to the university's sustainability efforts. The unofficial "UA Green Team" is a group of students, staff and faculty who volunteer for specific projects to increase recycling efforts on the UA campus. The first project of the new semester will begin with move-in day. Volunteers will work at the residence halls on the move-in days to recycle as many cardboard boxes as possible. You can volunteer as an individual or as a student group. All are welcome to help in this effort. Three-hour shifts will be set up for Sunday, Aug. 12, Thursday, Aug. 16, Friday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 18. Pick your day and contact Diane Cook at 575-2350 or DLCOOK@uark.edu to sign up. The more volunteers we have, the more boxes we can recycle.
